CalcPlant (the "Service") processes as little personal information as possible. The calculators work without an account; signing in is optional.
| Area | Data | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Calculation tool | Drawings, inputs and screen settings, stored only in your browser | Auto-save | Until you clear browser data. Never sent to our server. |
| Account (if you sign in) | Email address, sign-up and last sign-in time, plan, storage setting, a sign-in cookie (only a hash of its random value is stored) | Sign-in, providing your plan | Until you delete the account; sign-ins expire after 30 days |
| Sign-in links | Email address, time, a hash of your IP address | Sending sign-in links, preventing abuse | Deleted within 1 day |
| Cloud projects (Pro, when cloud storage is chosen) | Projects, items, revisions, drawings and results | Using projects on several devices | Until you delete them or the account. With "This browser only" nothing is stored on the server. |
| Feedback board | Name you enter, post and comment text, attached drawing files, time, a hash of your IP address (the IP itself is not stored) | Running the board, preventing spam | Until deleted by the author or the operator; deletion removes it from the database immediately. |
